Full disclosure; I ordered this to groom my long haired munchkin cat. With her tiny leg reach, she cannot groom herself properly. She can and will viciously try to shred your hand to pieces with her tiny legs if you try to brush her. This shaver is quite, super cheap, and works wonderfully (for my purpose, at the very least). I have another in my cart to be ordered just as a back up.

The battery life may be better when cutting human hair but it did drain rather quickly. Super easy to charge with USB though!
